We Are a Church that LOVES People

One person is holding a black paper heart, and another person is reaching out to receive it.

As evidenced by our home-like atmosphere, we’re a church that loves one another. We actively pursue relationship with each other by participating in Bible Studies, game nights led by the nurture commission and hymn sings led by the worship commission. We also love to love on those outside of our walls by supporting local entities like Agape House, Elijah Haven, and the LaGrange County Food Pantry through our yearly pancake breakfast and other fundraisers throughout the year.

We Are a Church that MENDS People

Empty church sanctuary with rows of black chairs facing a stage decorated with flowers. The stage has musical instruments, and three vertical red banners with words 'BELIEVE,' 'FAITH,' and 'HOPE' hang on the back wall. Small Christmas trees and poinsettias are on the stage, with a nativity scene on the left.

We offer assistance to those in crisis through counseling and care groups. Loss is a part of everyone’s lives and, we feel, it is important that the church be available to support those in their time of greatest need.

We Are a Church that Feeds People

People serving themselves food from buffet trays at a cafeteria or banquet event.

Whether it’s a carry-in lunch at church or a home cooked meal brought to a church member in need, we love food and the fellowship that happens when you gather with your fellow believers. We have a carry-ins regularly at church and if you happen to stop by on the day of, we expect you to stay, whether you brought anything or not, rest assured, we have plenty!

We Are a Church that Helps People

One of the best things about our giving is the “Alms Fund”. This is a fund we can give to that is then utilized to help those in need. You can also find many of our people out at “work days” on a Saturday, helping out one another and those in the community, be it to rake leaves or put on a new roof. We believe that helping one another through service is one way we can show Christ’s love, in a tangible way.
