As you pull into the parking lot, you will find handicap spaces marked appropriately. If it is raining, feel free to utilize the large carport to drop off your passengers before parking. If you need any assistance, someone will be available just inside the door. Bathrooms and coat racks are conveniently located on the south side of the foyer.

Children are always welcome at Marion Christian Fellowship, and we do our best to make sure they know it. We believe that children are an important asset for the future, so we always take extra care with everything we do for them. We believe in the importance of children participating in corporate worship and therefore keep the children in the sanctuary during the service. We do have a nursery just off of the sanctuary. Parents are welcome to take their children age 1 to Pre-School into the nursery during the sermon.
What if they cry during the service? There is a nursery, conveniently located just on the side of the foyer that offers a common room with a changing table and rocking chair. There are also four individual rooms with a crib or pack and play and a rocking chair where nursing mothers can nurse in ease while still being able to listen to the service through volume controlled speakers in each room. Let your little one rest safely as you monitor them with a video monitor as you enjoy the rest of the service.

The beginning of our service starts with a few gathering songs and a welcome and announcements followed by a call to worship/Time of Silence where we take a minute or two to clear our heads of everything behind us and in front of us and focus solely on God. We then take up our offering and have a time where we can share our joys and concerns and join corporately in prayer. Next are a few more songs followed by the sermon. After the sermon we have a few more songs and a prayer over our children before dismissing everyone to a coffee/hot chocolate time before they head on to their Sunday School classes. The service generally lasts about an hour and a half and Sunday school lasts 45 minutes.

We believe that since God always gives us His best, we should also strive to do the same for him. This doesn’t mean you have to wear a suit, it just means that whatever we wear, we should be respectful to His presence and give our best.
